Designed over the course of 2.5 years, Ayla’s bedroom is a reminder that creating a meaningful home doesn’t have to happen overnight. Every layer was chosen with intention to create a space that feels timeless, vintage, and full of childhood magic.

Window treatments are one of my favourite finishing touches in a room.
We layered a Roman shade with blackout curtains to create both function and softness. The Roman shade filters natural light beautifully, making our small window feel warm and airy during the day, while the blackout curtains easily close for complete darkness at bedtime.
